Welcome to Israel! After going through customs and passport control, you will be met by your guide and proceed north to the Galilee.

Driving along the coastal route, stop in Caesarea. Here you can explore the excavated Roman Harbor, amphitheater, and Crusader Fortress and learn how this city served as a vital port during ancient times.

Afterwards, take part in an important first Mitzvah upon entering the Land of Israel and plant a tree in a JNF Forest.

Afterwards, continue to your hotel for a late day swim or to relax and freshen up.

In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at the famous Decks restaurant overlooking the Sea of Galilee.

Golan Heights

After a full Israeli buffet breakfast, take a Jeep tour of the Golan Heights.

Afterwards, proceed to visit Kibbutz G’vat El-Rom and OZ77. See an audio visual presentation on the story of the battle of the Valley of Ba’acka, where Israel held back the Syrians from the Golan in the 1973 Yom Kippur War.

Finish your day by going to Tel Dan and walk through the beautiful Nature Reserve, one of the sources of the Jordan River.

Transfer back to your hotel to enjoy the evening at your leisure.

After breakfast, travel to Menara Cliff where you’ll enjoy a Cable Car Ride. Afterwards, travel to Hamat Gader, a park the whole family will be able to enjoy. You will visit a major archaeological site from Roman times, an alligator farm, an aviary, small zoo, or see a variety of shows.

Finally, finish your day with a visit to Safed, the center of Jewish mysticism (Kabbala). Tour synagogues, courtyards and its modern Artist’s Quarter. In the evening, enjoy an evening dinner and boat ride on the Kinneret.

Thursday

Beit Shearim / Jerusalem

After breakfast, you’ll head south to Jerusalem along the coastal route.

Your first stop will be at Beit Shearim, an ancient city in the Lower Galilee.

Continue down to Kfar Kedem, ancient Galilean Hebrew village. The whole family will enjoy this stop. Choose to ride a donkey bake pita bread, press olives for oil, dress in a Toga like our ancient ancestors or visit the shepherd’s tent for a truly fun and unique experience.

Next visit Sachne (Gan Hashlosha), a beautiful nature park with natural Jacuzzi spas, waterslides, and lush greenery.

Finish your day with a visit to the Jerusalem Time Elevator, where you will travel back in time as you embark on a simulated flight to the biblical days of Abraham.

In early evening, you will transfer to your hotel for the evening at your leisure.

After breakfast, enjoy a full day tour of New City Jerusalem.

Start your day at the new Herzl Museum, dedicated to the man who made the first steps in creating a national home to the Jewish people.

Then walk down through Mt. Herzl and through the cemetery to visit the graves of other key figures in Israel’s history such as Golda Meir, Levi Eshkol and Zeev Jabotinsky.

At the end of this path you will enter Yad Vashem, the memorial to the victims of the holocaust. Take your time as you walk through the newly renovated museum.

Next, visit the Israel Museum and Shrine of the Book, home to the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Finally end your day by driving for a view of the Israeli Supreme Court and The Knesset, Israel’s House of Parliament.

In the evening, return to your hotel to enjoy the evening at your leisure.

After breakfast, enjoy a walking tour of Old City Jerusalem.

Enter the walled city and stroll through the restored Jewish Quarter via Zion Gate. See the Roman Cardo and the Herodian Mansions.

Return to the hotel for Shabbat lunch.

Afterwards, spend the late afternoon/evening at the Biblical Zoo, dedicated to animals mentioned in the bible that became non-existent in Israel over the twentieth century.

In the evening, enjoy Jerusalem at your leisure.

Massada / Dead Sea / Jerusalem

After breakfast, depart Jerusalem early for an early morning ascent up Massada by cable car. Explore the mountain fortress and tour these amazing excavations while you discuss the terrible dilemma faced by its Jewish population during Roman Times.

Afterwards, you will be transferred to a hotel at the Dead Sea to enjoy lunch and a swim in the Dead Sea. This is the perfect opportunity to take advantage of the natural minerals the sea and mud have to offer.

When finished, you will have full use of the hotel’s shower and changing facilities to freshen up.

Finish your day in the South by visiting Ein Gedi, with its lush greenery and cool waterfalls.

In the late afternoon, enjoy a trip to Malca Mall, a large shopping complex situated in Jerusalem.

Enjoy the evening shopping in the mall, or enjoy dinner at one the many eateries.

Afterwards, transfer back to your hotel.

After breakfast, we will celebrate the B’nai Mitzvahs of your Bar Mitzvah / Bat Mitzvah child in Old City Jerusalem.

Celebrate this joyous occasion with a festive brunch in honor of your Bar Mitzvah / Bat Mitzvah child.

Afterwards, visit the Rabbinical Tunnels.

Then you’ll move on to the Davidson Center, which offers a wonderful audio-visual archaeological introduction to the history of Jerusalem.

Finish the day of touring by visiting the Tower of David. Explore the wonderful fortress that houses the Jerusalem Museum at the Tower of David to learn about the history of Jerusalem throughout the ages.

At the end of the day, transfer to your hotel in Tel Aviv.

After breakfast, explore Tel Aviv by starting your day in the outside market of Nahalat Binyamin.

Afterwards, travel to Independence Hall to hear Ben Gurion’s moving declaration of state.

Next, travel to the Palmach Museum. This new museum will take you on an interactive journey with a group of individuals from their recruitment into the Palmach until their eventual evolution into the Israeli Defense Force.

At the end of your day, take a late day stroll through Old Jaffa and the historic Neve Tzedek neighborhood.

Afterwards, transfer back to your hotel for the evening at your leisure.

After breakfast, drive to Latrun with its I.D.F. Armed Brigade to see the I.D.F. Museum.

Climb on a tank and speak to Tank instructors on site. Afterwards, visit Mini Israel, where you can see miniature replicas of a wide variety of sites throughout Israel.

Lastly, visit the Ayalon Institute, an amazing underground, pre-State bullet factory built in the Palmach under the noses of the British.

In the late afternoon, return to your hotel to enjoy the evening at your leisure.

In the morning, you may choose to participate in a community service project (TBD).

Then spend the rest of the day at your leisure. You can spend today lying on the beach and enjoy a dip in the gorgeous Mediteranean Sea.

Take a stroll on the ‘Tayelet’ and enjoy the many cafés and restaurants. Or, you may decide to spend this last day shopping for last minute gifts and tidbits to remind you of this incredible trip.

You will have a late checkout at th hotel and then be transferred to your late night flight back to the United States.
