Day 1 - Thursday
Hong Kong
You land at Hong Kong’s new airport, one of the most modern in the world.
Meeting at the international airport with the Ofakim representative and transfer to the hotel.
After checking in, we will go for a reconnaissance tour of our surroundings with the guide. |

Day 2 - Friday
Hong Kong
In the morning we will have a guided tour of this old/new canton of China, a sky-scraper city situated in a green, tropical setting on the shores of the busiest port in Asia.
We will visit Repulse Bay, one of Hong Kong’s most famous beaches, and then go to the Aberdeen fisherman’s village from which we will take a fascinating sampan trip to the typhoon shelter where local fishermen moor their fishing boats, and witness an exceptional and interesting way of living.
We will also go up to Victoria Peak for a spectacular view of the entire area.
We will still have time afterwards to do some shopping or to see some of the other sights the city has to offer. |

Day 3 - Saturday
Hong Kong
Free day that can be devoted to getting to know the areas of this city which is a seam between East and West.
We can do a tour of the Hong Kong islands, visit the wonderful Ocean Park, see the vast department stores and witness life in this bustling city.
Those who wish to can take a (paid) tour to the New Territories and take a look deep into the former British Colony, go to an unusual Daoist Temple, see vast bridges and the exact spot which was once the border with China, and visit a traditional Chinese village surrounded by walls that has preserved its unique character for generations.
At night, we will go out and mingle in the lively atmosphere of Hong Kong by night. |

Day 4 - Sunday
Hong Kong, Canton, Guilin
Today we will take leave of Hong Kong by hovercraft amid the spectacular views of Hong Kong Bay and arrive in Canton, the West’s gateway into China.
We will visit a wooden house - now the Chen Family Museum for Arts and Crafts - and see the hall and the monument dedicated to the Chinese Republic’s first President, Dr. Sun Yatsen.
We cannot leave Canton without seeing the unique Qing Ping Market and the attractive European Quarter.
At the end of our tour, transfer to the airport for the flight to Guilin.
Transfer to the hotel.

Day 5-6 - Monday-Tuesday
Guilin
After breakfast, we will go on a tour of the Longshen area, famous for its beautiful rice terraces.
We will see the minority tribes of the area and visit the Reed Flute Cave, a wonderful experience.
Dinner.
Today we will take a cruise to Yangshuo amid the picturesque scenery of the River Li.
We will also go to the top of Fubo Hill for a view of the river and visit Elephant Trunk Hill.
Early lunch will be served on the river cruise. |

Day 7 - Wednesday
Guilin, Shanghai
Visit to the Seven Star Park, which has all the elements of a Chinese garden such as water and rocks. There is also a little zoo and even a sign commemorating Bill Clinton’s visit.
We will then take the cable car over the treetops up to Yushan Park. When we get to the top, we will take in the breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains.
Transfer to the airport for the flight to Shanghai.

Day 8 - Thursday
Shanghai
This morning we will go to the Old City of Shanghai with the Yu Gardens and the bustling markets around the gardens.
We will see the statue of the Jade Buddha and then go for a Mongolian Barbecue lunch.
In the afternoon, we will go to Bund area that sits on the river and is famous for its colonial architecture.
We will also walk along Nanjing Road, the busiest shopping street in China.
In the evening, we will go and see a Chinese acrobatics show. |

Day 9 - Friday
Shanghai, Suzhou
Drive to Suzhou, also known as the Venice of the East.
Upon arrival, we will go to Tiger Hill with its beautiful gardens and then go for a tour of a silk factory.
Transfer to the hotel.
Dinner.
After dinner, we will go to see a succession of folkloric shows at the Master of Nets Gardens. |

Day 10 - Saturday
Suzhou, Hangzhou
After breakfast we will go to the Humble Administrator’s Garden and take a cruise on the canals that reminded Marco Polo of his hometown of Venice.
Our bus will then take us through the picturesque agricultural landscape of Southern China to the city of Hangzhou.
Transfer to the hotel.
Dinner. |

Day 11 - Sunday
Hangzhou
Today we go for an interesting tour to the Six Harmony Pagoda, take a cruise on the West Lake, legendary for its beauty.
We will also visit the Buddhist Lingyin Temple and sip tea the Chinese way at a tea plantation.
Afterwards, we will take a leisurely walk around this special city.
Dinner. |

Day 12 - Monday
Hangzhou, Xian
Transfer to the airport for the flight to Xian, the capital of the Tang Dynasty and the starting point of the legendary Silk Road.
Upon arrival, we will visit the Wild Goose Pagoda and take a walk on the city walls.

Day 13 - Tuesday
Xian, the Terracotta warriors
The highlight of Xian is undoubtedly the extraordinary army of over 6000 unique terra-cotta warriors, with horses and chariots from the Qin dynasty of the 3rd century BC, standing there, ready to protect the Emperors’ tomb.
We will then go to the Huaqing Hot Springs and also see the Bell Tower.
Lunch.
In the evening, we will go to a performance of the colorful Tang Dynasty Show. |

Day 14 - Wednesday
Xian, Beijing
After breakfast, we will go to see the Drum Tower, the Great Mosque and the Muslim market. Lunch.
Transfer to the airport for the flight to the capital, Beijing.
Transfer to the hotel. |

Day 15 - Thursday
Beijing
Today will be devoted to touring the political, cultural and administrative capital with its numerous sights.
We will go to famous Tiananmen Square (the largest square in the world) and see Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum, majestically standing in the center of the square.
We will then enter the Forbidden City, home to the Emperors during China’s long Imperial era and an impressive testimony to China’s ancient architecture.
We will also go to Coal Hill and continue to the sumptuous Summer Palace which sits on a beautiful lake.

Day 16 - Friday
Beijing, the Great Wall
Today we will visit one of the great wonders of the East, the Great Wall of China.
We will also walk along the statue-lined Spirit Way on our way to a visit to the Ming Emperors’ tombs.
Back in Beijing, we will go and see a hospital for Chinese Medicine.
After dinner we will go and see a Kung Fu performance. |

Day 17 - Saturday
Beijing
Today we will continue visiting the city. We will see the city being meticulously prepared for the Olympics and visit the Temple of Heaven, site of the most important imperial rituals and ceremonies.
Dinner.
Those who wish to can go to a performance of the Chinese Opera. |

Day 18 - Sunday
Beijing, Home
Morning free.
In the afternoon, we will go to the Lama Temple and to the Beijing Zoo before transferring to the airport for our flight back home.
