Day 1 - Friday
Bangkok
Meeting at the international airport with the Ofakim representative and transfer to the hotel.
After freshening up, we will go out and begin to discover the 'City of Angels' that sits on the Chao Praya River.
We will walk around the area of our hotel and begin to take in the mystical atmosphere of Thailand's capital.
In the evening we will go to the Erawan Shrine and to Suam Lum flower market.

Day 2 - Saturday
Bangkok, Royal Palace and Temples
Today we will have a guided tour of the city.
We will visit important temples such as Wat-Po, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha and Wat Traimit, the Temple of the Golden Buddha.
We will continue to the Grand Palace, where the kings of Siam lived. Among the magnificent buildings, we will see the funeral house, the reception buildings, the crown pavilion, the guesthouses and more.
We will also visit Wat Phra Kao, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, one of the holiest Buddhist sites in the world.
After lunch we will take a boat trip along the canals (klongs) of the Chao Praya river and see the Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun) and the porcelain Pagoda.
In the river, we will see and feed the catfish that are protected by royal decree. |

Day 3 - Sunday
Dream World Theme Park
Today we will go to Dream World, a theme park filled with fun and exciting things. From the moment we enter the park, we will absorb the atmosphere and look forward to a day of pleasure and enjoyment. We will walk down Main Street to the central lake where the main parade with characters out of legends from the East and from the West takes place in the afternoon.
We will see miniature versions of the Seven Wonders of the World, see the entire park from above in the cable car, ride pedal boats on the lake and go to one of the main attractions of this park, Snow Town. We will be given with warm jackets before we go into a North Pole atmosphere and walk on snow and take a sleigh down the icy slopes. And there is more... We will go on a roller coaster and also see a Hollywood-style show with battles, explosions and pyrotechnics.
The park also has beautiful gardens, and plenty of characters wandering around to fire up the imagination and entertain.
MacDonalds/Kentucky Fried Chicken meal.
In the evening, we can take a (paid) tour of the Kawasan area, the backpackers' favorite hangout, and also go to the bargain-filled market and the night flower market. |

Day 4 - Monday
Floating Market and Bridge over the River Kwai
We will go out of Bangkok in the direction of Nakhon Pathom and go to Thailand's biggest floating market, Damnoen Saduak. There, we will take a walk on "islands" that make up the most famous of all Thailand's markets.
We will continue on to Kanchanaburi, one of the most beautiful of Thailand's provinces, and see the famous Bridge over the River Kwai. We will go onto the bridge and then to the War Museum and to the cemetery that became famous after the fascinating film about the prisoners of war who died there whilst constructing the Japanese "death railway."
Lunch will be included today.
Return to Bangkok.
In the evening we can go on a (paid) tour to the famous Pat Pong night market. |

Day 5 - Tuesday
Marine Park, Safari World, Boat Trip in the Jungle
Today we will have wonderful new experiences. We will leave the real world and the noise and bustle of Bangkok to enter a new, exciting, different world.
At Safari World we will see many different types of wild animals from all over the world and we will also watch stunt shows such as the James Bond Show, the best in the entire Far East, where we will see 007 doing amazing feats with pyrotechnics, explosions and helicopters.
We will also see a rare display of trained birds, a sea mammals show (in Marine World) and Thai kickboxing monkeys. The highlight will be a new and different special attraction of the park: a boat trip into a real tropical jungle that gives a real-life feel of the jungle atmosphere.

Day 6 - Wednesday
Bangkok, Chiang Rai, Hill Tribes
Transfer to the airport for the short flight to Chiang Rai in northern Thailand, near the borders with Burma and Laos.
Upon arrival, we will go to see the Yao and Akha tribes that live in the hills around Chiang Rai. We will learn about these special ethnic groups' dress and traditions. We will take a peek into the cabins in which they live and have an opportunity to buy their handicrafts.
Transfer to the hotel.

Day 7 - Thursday
Chiang Rai, Golden Triangle, Mekong River Boat Trip, Mae Sai
After breakfast, our bus will take us on a special tour to the Golden Triangle, the juncture where Burma, Laos and Thailand's borders meet up at the Mekong River. In the past, this was the center of the opium trade run by the local hill tribes.
We will visit the border town of Mai Sai, take a boat on the Mekong River, renowned for its infamous history during the Vietnam War.
From the boat, we will see Burma and Laos.
Back to the hotel.

Day 8 - Friday
Chiang Rai, Long-Neck Women, Chiang Mai, Artist Villages
Today we head for Tha Ton, a nature reserve of northern Thailand, on the border with Myanmar (Burma), to see a world-renowned faction of the Karen hill tribes, called the Long-Neck Women. We will transfer to special vehicles that will take us to a point from which we will make a trek to a spectacular gorge. There we will see this unique tribe and learn about what brought these women to wear rings around their necks.
Our bus will then take us to the capital of northern Thailand, Chiang Mai. Lunch. We will go for a visit to Chiang Mai's artist's villages and then go to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, the temple that dominates the hillside from a height of 1200 meters. The climb up and visit to this, the holiest shrine in northern Thailand, is an exhilarating experience.

Day 9 - Saturday
Chiang Mai, Elephant Show, Elephant Ride
Today we will see one of the highlights of our trip: elephants. Our bus will take us to Mae Sa Elephant Camp where the elephants will be waiting to take us on a ride into the green scenery. We will sit two by two on the special seat on the elephant's back and start out on our adventure. One or two of us might be a bit frightened in the beginning and there might be a few shouts of wonder at this new experience.
At the end of our ride, we will go to an elephant show where we will witness how skilled elephants can be and how their mahuts have trained them to work together as a team.
We will continue from there to an orchid farm.
Lunch.
We will return to the hotel at the end of this amazing day, full of happy memories. |

Day 10-12 - Sunday-Tuesday
Chiang Mai, Phuket
Transfer to the airport for the direct flight to Phuket.
Transfer to the hotel.
We will spend three nights on this wonderful island.
We will go for a tour of Phang Nga Bay and visit James Bond Island.
In the evening we can go for a (paid) tour of the modern new entertainment center where we can see an amazing ethnic performance full of pyrotechnics.
We will have a half-day tour of the island on one of the days.
2 lunches are included during our stay in Phuket. |

Day 13 - Wednesday
Bangkok, Home
This is the end of our trip.
Transfer to Bangkok International Airport for our flight back home.
