Day 1

Day 2

Amman | Madaba | Mount Nebo | Shobak | Petra

After breakfast drive to Madaba to see the ancient mosaic map of the Holy Land & ruins of historical sites. Continue about 10km, to Mount Nebo, from where Moses viewed the Promised Land. From there you will see the Jordan Valley, Jericho, Dead Sea, etc. Visit the remains of the Byzantine church with a mosaic floor. Proceed via the crusaders castle - Shobak, to Wadi Mussa, the modern village of Petra for overnight.

Day 3

Petra | Amman

After the visit leave Petra and drive back to Amman.

Day 4

Amman | Allenby Bridge | Jerusalem | Tel Aviv

After breakfast, leave the hotel and drive to Allenby Bridge.

Cross the Jordan River and drive back to Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

Day 1

Sheik Hussein Bridge | Jerash | Amman

Drive from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem to the border crossing procedures to enter Jordan. Proceed to Jerash, City of the Decapolis, located about 45km north of Amman in the fertile heights of Gilead. Visit the ancient Roman city with colonnaded streets, the baths and the hill of the top Temple etc. Then drive to Amman for a city tour of the Jordanian capital.

Overnight in Amman.

Petra

Day 2

Amman | Petra | Amman

After early breakfast, leave the hotel and travel south on the road to Wadi Mussa. Then on horseback to the "Siq" (canyon) and then on foot to Petra known as "Sela Edom" or red rock city, the ancient capital of the Nabateans from 3rd century B.C. to 2nd Century A.D. Visit the most interesting monuments, such as the Treasury, El Khazneh (a tomb of a Nabatean king) then the field of tombs, obelisks, the altar, (Al Madhbah). From this point you can view the whole of the rock city.

Then back to Wadi Musa village and drive back to Amman for overnight.

Day 3

Amman | Madaba | Mount Nebo | Jerusalem | Tel Aviv

Today, enjoy a full day tour to the amazing rose city of Petra. Transfer from your hotel to the Arava border point with Jordan, cross into Jordan and drive to the rose city of Petra. Visit the wonders of the ancient city of Petra the Rose Red City carved by the Nabataeans out of solid rock. A visit to Petra is one of the true highlights of any tour to the Middle East. For hundreds of years, Petra was forgotten until it was rediscovered in 1812. The entire city is carved into the sides of a deep gorge, which is entered on foot or by horse-drawn carriages. In the late afternoon return to your hotel in Eilat.

Spend the morning at leisure in Eilat, noon check out from your room, late afternoon flight to Ben Gurion international airport to connect to your flight back to North America.
