Day 2 Madaba/Mount Nebo/Kerak/Petra After breakfast, we drive to Madaba to see the sixth century Byzantine mosaic map of Palestine, possibly the oldest map of the Holyland in existence. We then proceed to the historic Mount Nebo, which offer a remarkable view of the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the spires of Jerusalem at a distance. Visit the Byzantine Church and Baptismal site. Continue to Kerak on our way to Petra. Check-in at your selected hotel. Get ready to visit the awesome Rose Red City by night, lit with candles. Return to your hotel for overnight. (B) |

Day 3 Majestic Petra Visit Petra, Jordan's most exciting site and one of the 7 wonders of the new world. It was carved out of the craggy rock mountains south of the Dead Sea by the Nabataean traders more than 2000 years ago. A short horseback ride followed by a walk through the Siq, is the only access to this city. The sudden view of the spectacular Treasury is dramatic. See the gigantic Monastery, the High Place and the Roman-styled Palace Tomb. (B) |

Day 4 Petra/Wadi Rum/Amman After breakfast, we depart to the valley of the moon, known as “Lawrence of Arabia’s Land”. Wadi Rum is a land of mesmerizing beauty and contrast: the haunting wilderness, ever changing, and remote desert canyons, immense and still. A 4x4 jeep ride takes us deep inside the valley. Afterwards we drive back to Amman. (B) |

Day 5 Amman/Desert Castles/Amman We travel this morning to the Desert Castles, forts and hunting lodges, most were the domain of Umayyad Caliphs. Qusayr Amra is a UNESCO world heritage site. The black basalt of Azraq is still in use since the Romans, it was also the headquarters of Lawrence of Arabia. Return to your selected hotel in Amman. (B) |

Day 6 Amman/Jerash/Ajlun/Amman We start with the olden city of Jerash, remarkable for its unbroken chain of human occupation. Here at a well-watered site in the hills of Gilead, we find remains from Neolithic times, as well as Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Omayyad and others. Jerash's golden age, however, arrived with Roman rule. Today it is acknowledged as one of the best preserved Roman provincial towns in the world. We continue to Ajloun to tour the 12th century Saracen Castle built by one of Saladin's lieutenants in the campaign against the Crusaders. (B) |

Day 1 Eilat - Wadi Rum *Pick up at your hotel in Eilat or Eilat Airport Transfer to the Arava Border, and after completing the border formalities, travel to Wadi Rum. You shall pass the famous seven pillars of wisdom, described by Lawrence of Arabia and explore Wadi Rum by jeep, escorted by a Bedouin guide. You shall see the house where Lawrence of Arabia lived, and the inscriptions made by the Thamudic and Nabatean people centuries ago. And you may even climb one of the natural rock bridges. And evening travel down to Petra check in at the Hotel. Overnight at 3*, 4*, or 5* Hotel. |

Day 2 Petra - Eilat In the morning a local guide will escort you into Petra and show you the highlights of the Nabatean city. You will enter the city through the Siq and be rewarded with the most astonishing and dramatic monument in Jordan: the Treasury. You will also visit the theatre, the tombs and façades and the colonnaded street. In the evening transfer you Aqaba free time for shopping and to south border and departure back to Eilat. |

Day 1 *Pick up at your hotel in Eilat or Eilat Airport Transfer to the Arava Border, and after completing the border formalities, enter the Rose Red City. Start your tour by walking through the narrow define into the rock-cut city of Petra (The Siq), the most wondrous of all ancient sites, built over 2,000 years ago by the Nabateans where you can see the treasury (Al-Khazneh) then walk through the Romans columns and see the theater. Continue on to visit Qasr El-Bint. Stay a little longer and visit the mysterious High place of Sacrifice or the Monastery, then transfer back to Arava border for departure back to Eilat. |
