Day 1 Istanbul Arrive in Istanbul and transfer to the Bosphorus for a Luncheon Cruise on the Semiramis. Next we’ll check into the hotel and have some time to relax before a briefing on Jewish history and current Jewish affairs. Afterwards we’ll enjoy a Welcome Dinner. Overnight, Istanbul. |

Day 2 Istanbul After breakfast we’ll depart the hotel to visit a Jewish Day School. We’ll then proceed to visit a Jewish Museum and other Jewish institutions including an Old Age Home, a Jewish Hospital, and a Jewish Homeless Shelter. There, we’ll eat lunch before returning to the hotel for some free time. Next there will be a Candle Lighting service at the hotel before we depart for Shabbat Services at a local synagogue and Kabbalat Shabbat at the Ortakoy Synagogue with home hospitality. Overnight, Istanbul. |

Day 3 Istanbul After breakfast we will visit the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, and the Spice Market. We’ll lunch at the a local restaurant, and afterwards we’ll go to Topkapi and the Grand Bazaar. We’ll then return to the hotel for dinner and overnight. |

Day 4 Istanbul After breakfast we’ll transfer to the airport for a flight to Izmir. Upon arrival, we’ll depart by bus for a City Tour including the Old Synagogue and the Square of the Clock. We’ll depart with a boxed lunch for Ephesus, a city that was once a thriving capital of the Roman province of Asia Minor. The Library at Ephesus is considered to be one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Afterwards we’ll depart for our return flight to Istanbul where we’ll transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight. |
Day 5 Istanbul/US After breakfast we depart for our return flight home. |
