CMS Investments

CMS Investments

CMS Companies has long entrusted Gil Travel to manage their travel needs to prepare for business meetings abroad and create incentive travel programs for their employees. We’re pleased to be successfully affiliated with CMS.

Our Mission

We focus all of our energies on helping entrepreneurs grow, manage and preserve wealth for the benefit of their families and their communities.

While our products and services may change from time to time, nothing will change the underpinnings of our business - that of providing an unusually high level of due diligence on products, services and ideas for the successful entrepreneur.

Our Business Philosophy

We want to be known as a high performance, high integrity group of people who make a difference. Yes, making money is important, but helping our clients meet their objectives is more important. Our philosophy is that if we help our clients, we will be rewarded. Maybe not today, but someday we will be compensated. Stated simply, we are in the relationship business.

We will only recommend products and services which we believe to be the best available. We operate on the theory that one day our papers will be graded. On that day, the most knowledgeable person on the subject is going to walk in and our work will be laid bare. Our recommendations must be capable of withstanding this test.

We prefer to underpromise and overperform. While this may cost us some business in the short-run, it will guarantee our long-term success. Every time we deliver more than expected the bond between ourselves and our clients is strengthened.

Our Responsibility

Second in importance only to helping our clients meet their objectives is making this a better world than we found it. We, as a firm, are committed to helping others who are less fortunate than ourselves develop their full potential. This means that all CMSers have a responsibility to put something back. We believe there are two kinds of people in the world, miners and farmers. Miners only take out; farmers take out but also put something back. We only want to be associated with farmers.

Our Primary Asset

Our greatest asset is our credibility. A client must be able to take our word to the bank. White lies or misrepresentations are unacceptable. Mistakes, however, are acceptable as long as we own up to them. The only people who do not make mistakes are those who do not make decisions.

Our Investment Policy

Unlike other firms, no transaction for investment purposes is retained by CMS for the exclusive benefit of its principals. To the contrary, all investments are made available to clients. Partners are required to invest in all CMS transactions and, except for a $100,000 exemption, are not allowed to make outside investments in asset classes in which CMS is then active.

Our Commitment

We are committed to doing "whatever it takes" to serve our clients. These are not just buzz words; they express the very essence of CMS.
