Day 1

Cairo

After arriving in Cairo we will be met at the airport and assisted to our hotel.

Day 2

Cairo

After enjoying a buffet breakfast we'll enjoy our first full day in Egypt exploring the wonders of the ancient Egyptian civilization including the Pyramids and the Sphinx. We'll also visit the ancient sites of Memphis and Sakkara. Lunch at the Mena House is included. In the early evening we'll return to our hotel.

Day 3

Cairo

Today we'll enjoy another full day touring in Cairo. First we'll go to the famed Egypt Museum where one could spend many hours or even days learning about the ancient civilization. Afterwards we'll enjoy lunch at the Intercontinental Hotel. Next we'll explore Old Cairo, including the Citadel. We'll also see the Mohamed Ali Mosque, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. Then we'll return to our hotel for overnight.

Day 4

Cairo / Luxor

Today we catch our flight to Luxor to begin our Nile Cruise. We embark on the cruise at 12:00 noon. After lunch and a guide introduction, we will tour the West Bank of the Nile, including the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, and the Temple of Hatshepsut. We'll return to the ship were we'll enjoy afternoon tea, dinner, and dancing.

Day 5

Luxor / Esna

After breakfast we'll visit the East Bank, including the Temple of Karnak and the Luxor Temple. Afterwards we'll sail to Esna. Once again we'll enjoy tea, dinner, and after-dinner dancing on our Nile Cruise ship!

Day 6

Esna / Edfu

After breakfast we'll sail to Edfu. We'll lunch before disembark to visit the Temple of Hours. Afterwards we'll sail to Komombo and have afternoon tea and a special oriental dinner. In the evening, enjoy a Galabiya and Costume Party.

Day 7

Komombo / Aswan

In the morning we'll visit the Komombo Temple before sailing to Aswan. After lunch we'll visit the High Dam, the Old Dam, the Granite Quarries, and the Temple of Philae. We'll have free time to relax before one last evening of dinner and dancing!

Day 8

Aswan / Enroute

After breakfast we'll disembark and visit the Gardens by Falucca. Afterwards we'll transfer to the airport for our flight to Cairo and catch our return flight to the U.S.
