Day 1

Cairo

Today we depart for Cairo, Egypt. Upon arriving at Cairo International Airport you will be assisted through customs and passport formalities then transfer to your hotel.

Day 2

Cairo

After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, we begin our sightseeing tour with a visit to the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinos, and their guardian Sphinx, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Then we return to Cairo and visit the world-renowned Egyptian Museum of Antiquities where we will view the treasures of King Tutankhamun. The museum houses more than 160,000 items from the Pharaohs of Egypt.
Eat lunch at Mena House Oberoi Hotel’s Khan El Khalili Restaurant while enjoying a beautiful view of the Pyramids.

Day 3

Luxor

Pack your bags and transfer to Cairo Domestic Airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival at Luxor Airport you will be transferred to your Nile cruise for embarkation. Head to the West Bank for a visit to the Karnak Temple, the largest and most impressive temple complex in Egypt and Luxor Temple, the temple was dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun, Mut, and Chons.

Day 4

Luxor / Esna

Enjoy your second day on The West Bank.Today we will visit the Valley Of The Kings, Queens, The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut & Colossi Of Memnon then sail south to Esna, the busy merchant and farming town, with a weaving industry.
Each day on the cruise you will have a chance to relax and take pleasure in Afternoon Tea.

Day 5

Edu / Kom Ombo

This morning we depart Esna and sail down the Nile to Edfu. We will visit The Temple of Edfu, the best preserved and second largest temple in Egypt and The Temple Of Kom Ombo. Dating back from the Ptolemaic and Roman periods, The Temple of Kom Ombo is famous for it’s double temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Haroeris. This evening, take part in a Galabiya Party.

Day 6

Aswan

The day will begin with a visit to The High Dam, The Old Dam, The Unfinished Obelisk and The Temple Of Philae.
In the evening you will enjoy dinner, dancing and a guided tour by "felucca" (local sailing boat) of the Aswan Botanical Gardens.

Day 7

Cairo

Transfer to Aswan airport for your flight back to Cairo.
At Cairo Airport you will be met and transferred to our hotel for check in.

Day 8

Amman

After enjoying a delicious breakfast we leave from Cairo Airport on our flight to Amman. Upon arriving at Amman International Airport you will be assisted through customs and passport formalities then transfer to your hotel.

RACE

Day 9

Jerash / Amman / Petra

After breakfast, head north to Jerash to enjoy the Roman Army and Chariot Experience (RACE) show, where Roman soldiers, gladiators and chariot racing performances can be experienced in a genuine Roman setting. Following lunch in
Jerash, we will enjoy a city tour of Amman, then drive to Petra.

Day 10

Petra

After breakfast, explore the magical ancient city of Petra on horseback. Enjoy a lunch and a rest at the Basin followed by a guided Jeep tour of Wadi Rum, a valley cut into the sandstone and granite rock in south West Jordan.

Day 11

Kerak / Madaba / Mt. Nebo / Bethany beyond Jordan and Dead Sea

Today we head to the magnificent Crusader fortress of Kerak. We will also visit Madaba, the “The City of Mosaics.” After lunch, travel west to Mt. Nebo, one of the most revered holy sites of Jordan, for it is the burial place of Moses. Following a drive to the Dead Sea we will visit a baptism site, “Bethany beyond Jordan,” where John the Baptist is said to have baptized Jesus.

Overnight, Dead Sea.


Day 12

Dead Sea / Enroute

After breakfast, transfer to Amman Airport or Sheikh Hussein Bridge with the assistance of a Travel Plus Representative for departure.
