Dear Gil Travel and Study Mission Team,

As I’m getting ready to leave for the airport and return to the US, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the wonderful week we just had and say thank you for everything you have done to make this mission a success. It was a true collaboration and, whether in the New York office leading up to the mission or on the ground, it would not have been a success without the contribution of EVERYONE on the team.

I feel honored to work with such incredible colleagues and I hope you all feel great about what we accomplished and the experience we provided for our Cabinet members.

For those who are leaving Budapest over the next few days, I hope you have safe flights home. For those who are in New York, we’ll see you soon!

I head to Berlin in a short while and I would be remiss if I did not extend my warmest thanks to all of the staff of Gil Travel. The entire Maccabi USA family is grateful for your hard work and caring for our people who I know can be challenging at times. The long hours, countless phone calls and meetings, demands that were sometimes reasonable and sometimes not…. the occasional stress- through it all you were great to work with.
