 Potsdamer Platz |
Day 1 Berlin After checking into the hotel, we will enjoy a buffet lunch to get our day started. Next we’ll depart for a city tour, making stops at Unter de Linden, Gendermarkt, Fredrichstrasse, Checkpoint Charlie, the Walls of Berlin, and Potsdamer Platz. We will then return to the hotel briefly before heading to the Train Tracks where we will hold a Yizhkor Service. In the evening, we will enjoy a pleasant Welcome Dinner before returning to the hotel for overnight. |

Day 2 Berlin This morning after breakfast, we’ll depart the hotel for the House of the Wannsee Conference. There we will tour the exhibit halls, explaining the meeting that launched Hitler’s “Final Solution,” the extermination of all Jewish peoples. Next we’ll part for Potsdam where we’ll visit the Schloss Cecilierhoff. We’ll also do a short walking tour of the city. Afterwards, we’ll return to the hotel for an evening at leisure and overnight. |

Day 3 Berlin After breakfast, we’ll depart the hotel for the Mitte, which is the central-most district of Berlin containing the Pergamon Museum, the Brandenburg Gate, and the Reichstag among others. We’ll then arrive at Hamburger Strasse and view the Residential Monument and Mendelsohn’s grave. Soon after we’ll depart for the Street Sign Memorial before lunching. Next we’ll visit the Jewish Museum including the garden, tower, and Kadishman Monument, as well as the exhibition on the upper level. We’ll then return to the hotel where we’ll enjoy a Shabbat Service in a private room, followed by a Kosher Dinner at the hotel. Overnight, Berlin. |

Day 4 Berlin Breakfast is at leisure, followed by an optional Shabbat Service. We’ll then take a walking tour back to the Mitte to see the Pergammon Museum, as well as the Reichstag. Our farewell dinner will be at the Dephimium, complete with a savory meal and entertainment. We’ll then go back to the hotel for our last night in Berlin. |
