Day 1

Kiev

Arrive in Kiev where we will be met an assisted to the motorcoach. We will then be transferred to Babi Yar Memorial for a Yizkor service.

Afterwards, we will check in to our hotel where we where have our Welcome Dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Kiev

After breakfast, we’ll go on a city tour including visits to Chelminitzki Square, Beilus Courthouse, and the St. Sophia Cathedral.

After, we depart for Hesed Avot Azriel Welfare Center. We’ll take a tour of the Center, then lunch in the cafeteria with Hesed clients.

Afterwards, we depart for the Pechersky Lavra Monastery.

Feel free to explore the beautiful city on your own and enjoy some local cuisine!

Overnight, Kiev.

Day 3

Kiev

After breakfast, we depart for Berdichev to visit the famous Synagogue and Cemetery.

Next we travel to Medzhibozh with a kosher lunch box, and then on to the gravesite of Baal Shem Tov and Fortress Castle.

Next we’ll enjoy a picnic lunch before heading to Zhitomir, an ancient city rich in Jewish heritage with a special visit to the Cemetery and the Synagogue.

There we will have a special dinner, then it’s back to Kiev for overnight.

Day 4

Kiev/St. Petersburg

After breakfast we’ll transfer to Kiev airport for our flight to St. Petersburg.

There we’ll be met and assisted to Catherine’s Palace, the summer home of the Russian Imperial family.

Before touring the Palace and the Gardens, we’ll enjoy lunch at the Podvorie Restaurant.

Next we’ll walk to the Puskin Holocaust Memorial.

Afterwards we’ll depart for the hotel to check in and enjoy a Welcome Dinner.

The evening will be topped off with an Evening Canal Cruise.

Overnight, St. Petersburg.

Day 5

St. Petersburg

Breakfast will be followed by a visit to the Jewish Cemetery where we can pay our respects.

Afterwards we proceed to the Choral Synagogue and participate in home visits with the elderly.

Next we depart for a picnic lunch at the Pier.

Then we take an exciting Hydrofoil trip to Peterhoff.

There we will take a tour of the fountains and the palace before returning by bus to St. Petersburg.

The evening will be spent enjoying Shabbat Services and Kosher Dinner at Shalom Restaurant.

Overnight, St. Petersburg.

Day 6

St. Petersburg

First we enjoy a leisurely breakfast followed by optional Shabbat Services, then we depart for the Hermitage Art Museum.

Enroute we will visit the Church of the Spilled Blood.

We return on foot to the hotel and depart for our evening of fine entertainment at the Theater.

Then we enjoy a late supper and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7

St. Petersburg

After breakfast we’ll enjoy our real first tour of beautiful St. Petersburg.

On the way we’ll visit Admiralty, Aurora, Peter & Paul Fortress, St. Isaacs Cathedral, and the Piskaryovskoe Memorial.

Next, enjoy lunch at the Senat Bar Restaurant.

Afterwards we’ll pay a visit to the JAFI Aliya Center. Next we’ll depart for a tour of the Yusupov Palace.

Afterwards, upon returning to the hotel, enjoy a quiet evening in or a dinner out on the town!

Overnight, St. Petersburg.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for flight to Tel Aviv.

St. Petersburg/Moscow

Wake up early to catch the flight from St. Petersburg to Moscow.

After arriving, we will be met and assisted to the city center where we will visit a Chorale Synagogue. If he is in town, we will be treated to a Briefing by Rabbi Goldschmidt.

We will also tour the Red Square, the Armory and the Kremlin, as well as St. Basil’s Church and Lenin’s Tomb.

Afterwards, we will check in to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 9

Moscow

The morning will be at your leisure before departing to Poklonnaya Gora (Memorial Hill), and the Pollonnay Gora Synagogue & Museum.

Next we’ll drive through the beautiful Vorobjev Hills before arriving at the prestigious Moscow University for a tour of the grounds.

We will lunch at Tesoro Restaurant before departing for a stroll through Arbat.

We will also visit the spectacular Tretakov Gallery before taking the metro back to the hotel.

Your evening is free to wine and dine or relax in the Russian capital.

Overnight, Moscow.

Day 10

Moscow

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before departing from the hotel. We’ll first visit the Novodevichy Convent, then we depart for the Pushkin Museum before lunching at the “Russian Style” ITAR-TASS Building.

Next we’ll take a stroll through the lovely Gorky Park.

After returning to the hotel, we’ll take a magnificent Twilight Cruise on the Moskva River.

Then, on to a farewell dinner at the Restaurant Savoy before returning to the hotel for overnight.

Transfer to the Moscow airport for our return flight home.
