| Day 1 St. Petersburg Arrive in St. Petersburg, Russia. The most European of Russian cities, St. Petersburg, nestled on the banks of the Neva River, is often referred to as the "Venice of the North." Meeting, arrival, and transfer by private car to your hotel. Remainder of the day is at leisure in this glorious city. (B) |

| Day 2 St. Petersburg In the morning, meet your local guide and driver. Your half-day panoramic city tour includes a drive past some of the city’s most famous sites: St. Isaac's Cathedral, one of the largest domed buildings in the world; the bronze statue of Peter the Great, founder of the city; the Admiralty building; and the extraordinary Winter Palace. Day 3 St. Petersburg Morning half-day walking tour with a private guide to the magnificent State Hermitage Museum in the lavishly decorated Winter Palace. One of the largest art museums in the world, the museum boasts masterpieces by Leonardo Da Vinci, Raphael, Rembrandt, Monet, Picasso, and Matisse. | Day 4 St. Petersburg-Moscow Enjoy a five hour private car and guide excursion to Catherine's Palace in Pushkin (Tsarskoye Selo), the splendid country palace of the Czars. This royal palace ranks as one of the masterpieces of the world for its architecture and art. Built in 1710, it was given by Peter the Great to his wife Catherine. Later on, it was enlarged and modified following the exquisite baroque style of the famous Italian designer Bartolomeo Rastrelli. Until the Revolution, Catherine's Palace was used as the summer residence of the Imperial family. Its grandiose turquoise, white and gold facade stretches 978 feet and its most spacious room, the Great Hall, covers 9200 square feet. The park enhances the splendor of the Palace with its charming pavilions. After a tour of this fairy-tale estate, stop at Pavlovsk Palace and its extraordinary park filled with classical statues and temples, built for the son of Catherine the Great. Return to St. Petersburg. In the afternoon, private car transfer to the Railway Station to board the Sapsan Express train to Moscow. Arrive in Moscow, the vibrant capital of Russia.
