Day 1

Sail the canals of ancient Copenhagen on board the Royal Chalup from 1926. Marvel at the picturesque sites, charming canals, and quaint neighborhoods.

Visit to the Copenhagen Opera House, including its lobby, with its clean lines, Olafur Eliasson’s magnificent light sculptures and breathtaking views of Copenhagen Harbour, embracing the shiny maple shell around the Main Stage. Gain access to the stage and behind the scenes, where the huge, movable stage areas make it possible to perform several different productions on the same day.

Take a private tour of either the Royal Copenhagen or Georg Jensen flag store.

Optional private cooking class in the evening or dinner at one of the local Michelin Star restaurants

Day 2

Take a Jewish Rescue Route tour and learn the amazing story of Danish Jewry from when the first Jews were invited by the king in 1622 to the present time.

Visit the Copenhagen Synagogue and meet one of the leaders of the Jewish Community in Denmark.

Head to the Danish-Jewish Museum Experience and learn much more about Jewish history in Denmark. The remarkable architecture is made by the world-famous architect Daniel Liebeskind.

Visit the fishing village of Dragör and learn about the brave fishermen who helped more than 95 % of the Jewish population in Denmark to safety in Sweden. In Dragör your guide will share her personal stories about the miraculous rescue of 7,000 Danish Jews in October 1943.
Climb onboard the very same fishing cutter which saved many of the Danish Jews.

Day 3

Meet your driver and guide in the lobby of your hotel and enjoy a beautiful ride along the shores,
facing the strait between Denmark and Sweden, heading north of Copenhagen.

Visit the most famous and impressive castle in Danish history, Kronborg Castle. The castle has been the residence of the royal family. It is also known as Hamlet Castle, since this is where Shakespeare got his inspiration for Hamlet and Ofelia.

Visit to the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, a 45-minute drive from Copenhagen, an international museum with a considerable collection of modern art.

The museum’s permanent collection includes more than 3,000 works including Picasso, Giacometti, and Andy Warhol, and is the largest in Scandinavia.

After lunch at the charming Sletten Inn, continue to the picturesque city of Gilleleje. This city
played a major part in the rescue of the Danish Jews during WW2. More than 1,400 Jews escaped from Gilleleje, but the city also experienced a disaster when more than 80 Jews were captured hiding in the addict of the Gilleleje Church. They were all sent to the concentration camp, Theresienstadt.
