Day 1 - Saturday
Tel Aviv/Jerusalem

Arrive in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem for tour departure the next day. Transfers and hotels not included.

Day 2 - Sunday

Jerash

Transfer from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem and drive to the Jordanian border (Hussein Bridge). After border crossing procedures, meet with your Jordanian tour guide and enter the country.

We will start our tour with a visit to Jerash, City of the Decapolis, located in the fertile heights of Gilead. The history of Jerash is a blend of the Greco-Roman world of the Mediterranean basin and the ancient traditions of the Arab Orient. We will visit the Roman city with colonnaded streets, the ancient theater, the baths, the hill top temple, the triumphal arch etc.

We will continue to Amman, a metropolis in the center of Jordan, the capital of the Hashemite Kingdom and the largest city in the country. At the end of the day, we will arrive at the hotel in Amman for check-in.

Overnight: Amman

Day 3 - Monday

After breakfast, we will leave the hotel and travel south on the road to Wadi Musa for an exciting day’s visit to Petra, which is known as “Ha Sela Ha Edom” or red rock city. We will start with a horseback ride to the “Siq” (Canyon) and then continue on foot to Petra, the ancient capital of the Nabateans from the 3rd century BC to 2nd century AD.
We will visit the most interesting carved monuments such as the Treasury (El Khazneh, a tomb of a Nabatean king) to the field of tombs, obelisks, the altar etc. From this point, you can view the whole of the rock city.
At the end of the visit, we will drive back to Amman for overnight.

Day 4 - Tuesday
Madaba/Mt. Nebo

Mt. Nebo

Check-out after breakfast at the hotel. We will drive to Madaba, best known for its spectacular Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics. Madaba is home to the famous 6th century Mosaic Map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land. With two million pieces of vividly colored local stone, it depicts hills and valleys, villages and towns as far as the Nile Delta. We will then continue to Mount Nebo, from where Moses viewed the Promised Land.
We will stop for an overview of the Jordan Valley, Jericho and the Dead Sea.

At the end of our visit, we will drive to the border to cross back to Israel and transfer to Jerusalem or Tel Aviv.
