  • Touring in Istanbul is based on seat in a bus, more than one language may be spoken during the tour.
  • Private airport transfers. Private touring available on request.

  • Passports must have enough blank space to allow for Turkish entry and exit stamps.
  • Visa is required for Turkey. You can purchase a sticker visa at the Turkish airport or other port of entry for $20 (U.S.) cash.

Day 1 -
Istanbul Arrival

Day 2 -
Jewish Istanbul

Welcome to Istanbul’s vibrant Jewish community. We will spend the morning with a visit to Galata Tower, one of the city’s most striking landmarks and part of a very important Jewish neighborhood (Beyoglu). Here, we visit the Neve Shalom synagogue, the Ashkenaz synagogue, and the Zulfaris Jewish museum, a cultural center to inform the society of the traditions and history of Turkish Jewry.

In the afternoon, continue to Balat, another traditional Jewish settlement in the Fatih district of Istanbul. Proceed to the famous Ahrida synagogue built in 1412 and the oldest of Istanbul’s 16 synagogues in use today. Thereafter, visit the neighboring Yanbol synagogue, a Jewish home, and the Ahayim Jewish Hospital.

Day 3 -
Blue Mosque

Blue Mosque

Today, we visit the Blue Mosque, the 17th century Ottoman Mosque famous for its six minarets and magnificent interior with blue tiles, and then the Hippodrome, where chariot races took place during the Roman period. Continue to St Sophia, the masterpiece of Byzantine architecture. In the afternoon, continue to Topkapi Palace to see the dazzling displays of the treasures of the Ottoman sultans. The final stop is the Grand Bazaar, where there are more than 4.000 shops.

Day 4 -
Bosphorus River

Bosphorus River

Enjoy a half-day Bosphorus tour, including Golden Horn, Egyptian Market and Bosphorus cruise by boat; enjoy a cruise on the Bosphorus, the winding strait that separates Europe and Asia, connecting the Black Sea with the Sea of Marmara. Enjoy the view of the old wooden mansions, Ottoman palaces, and ancient fortresses. Afternoon free.
