Arrival to Israel

Arrive at Ben Gurion International Airport, meet your driver and transfer to the hotel in Tel Aviv. Check in, unpack and relax; stroll along the boardwalk. Enjoy Shabbat Dinner (around 7:30pm) at the hotel.

Saturday, June 22, 2019

Tel Aviv

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will head to Rehovot to visit the Ayalon Institute, the famous Bullet Factory.

Return to Tel Aviv and take in the sights on foot., Neve Tzedek, and the old city of Jaffa.

You will continue to Beit Hatfutsot (Diaspora Museum).
Enjoy dinner and an evening at leisure.

Spend the day seeing and learning about the history and creation of the State of Israel and the modern country its become.

Lower Galilee

Depart Tel Aviv and head up north to Caesarea where you will explore and snorkel around the ancient Roman port city. From there, head to Tzfat (Safed) where you will learn about this mystic city and visit its artist galleries. Check into your hotel and enjoy dinner and an evening at leisure.

Tuesday, June 25, 2019

Jerusalem

Start your day at Mount Bental, with a special briefing about security in the Golan Heights. From there enjoy a jeep tour in the Golan. Then, kayak or raft down the Jordan River followed by making and eating decadent chocolate at DeKarina.

Head for Jerusalem and pause at Mount Scopus to say a Shehechiyanu and take in the City.

Evening activity: Sound and Light Show at the Tower of David.

Jerusalem

Depart for a journey south to: Masada, the Dead Sea, and Qumran. Enjoy the spectacular landscape and history. Return to the hotel to enjoy the pool and relax or shop. Have a casual dinner on your own and an evening at leisure.

Jerusalem

Prepare for a day of touring the Old City of Jerusalem. Start with the Western Wall and the Bar/Bat Mitzvah celebration at Robinson's Arch. After a celebratory nosh, head to Hezekiah's Water Tunnel; the Cardo; Jewish, Arab and Christian quarters; and Ramparts.

Finish this wonderful day with an evening of fun! Enjoy camel rides, pita-making, and a Bedouin-style dinner at Genesis Land.

Jerusalem – Old City

Head to Yad Vashem (adults) and Biblical Zoo (for children who are 8 and under). After a quick lunch, enjoy an Archeological Dig at Beit Guvrin. Return to the hotel to refresh and relax before Shabbat.
Enjoy Shabbat dinner at the hotel.

Jerusalem and Departure

Talking with your guide, decide when you will meet and discuss exploring the following (there may not be time for or you may not want to do all) : Walking tour of the city and its neighborhoods, Church of the Holy Sepulcher, Via Dolorosa, and/or Israel Museum, Jerusalem.

In the early evening, say goodbye to your guide, check out of the hotel, and enjoy a light dinner, before meeting your driver for the transfer to the airport for your flight home.
