Admire Hagia Sophia and the Topkapi Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will also enjoy a cruise on the Bosphorus, where you can see the Sunda Strait Bridge that separates Europe and Asia. Travelling out of Istanbul, experience the unique moon-like volcanic terrain of Cappadocia, an important junction point of the Old Silk Road. You will be absolutely amazed at this natural wonder from above, while riding the optional air balloon ride. Leaving Cappadocia, follow the Old Silk Road to Konya and continue to Pamukkale, the “cotton castle”, featuring amazing hot springs.   • Touring in Istanbul is based on seat in a bus, more than one language may be spoken during the tour

Day 2 - Friday
Topkapi Palace

Topkapi Palace

Today, visit the Blue Mosque, the 17th century Ottoman Mosque famous for its six minarets and magnificent interior with blue tiles, and then the Hippodrome, where chariot races took place during the Roman period. Continue to St. Sophia, the masterpiece of Byzantine architecture. In the afternoon, continue to Topkapi Palace to see the dazzling displays of the treasures of the Ottoman sultans. The final stop is the Grand Bazaar, where there are more than 4.000 shops.

Day 3 - Saturday

Enjoy a half day Bosphorus tour, including Golden Horn, Egyptian Market and Bosphorus cruise by boat; enjoy a Cruise on the Bosphorus, the winding strait that separates Europe and Asia, connecting the Black Sea with the Sea of Marmara. Enjoy the view of the old wooden mansions, Ottoman palaces, and ancient fortresses. Afternoon free

Day 4 - Sunday
Istanbul - Ankara - Cappadocia


Transfer from your hotel in Istanbul to the airport for your morning flight to Ankara, the capital of modern Turkey. Visit the world-famous Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, filled with priceless collections of the prehistoric era and Hittite treasures. Then, drive to the impressive mausoleum of Ataturk, founder of the Turkish Republic. After lunch in Ankara we drive to and admire the moon-like landscape of Cappadocia.

Day 5 - Monday
Cappadocia, Turkey Tour


Today, enjoy a full day tour of Cappadocia, where we visit the natural citadel of Uchisar, the Goreme Valley, an open-air museum with its beautiful cave-churches hewn out of rocks and its colorful frescoes. Then, visit the monastic valley of Zelve, the Valley of Fairy Chimneys and the caves of the ancient village of Avanos. After lunch en route drive to Kaymakli, a veritable underground city carved from the soft volcanic rock by early Christians.

Day 6 - Tuesday
Cappadocia - Konya - Pamukkale

After breakfast we continue our journey to Konya, following the ancient Silk Road. After lunch in this holy city we visit the shrine of Mevlana, the great mystic, who inspired the rituals of the “Whirling Dervishes”, and has been visited by St. Paul and St. Barnabas. Seljuk Turks made it the capital of their Anatolian Empire. After lunch continue to Pamukkale (Cotton Castle) – an apt description of the natural phenomenon of fantastic white limestone terraces. At sunset visit the ruins of the necropolis and the great baths of Hierapolis.

Day 7 - Wednesday
Pamukkale - Aphrodisias - Kusadasi

Morning departure to Aphrodisias. Visit the beatufilly excavated Aphrodisias, the city of Aphrodite, with its near-perfect stadium, theater, odeon and temple. After lunch continue to Kusadasi.

Day 8 - Thursday
Ephesus Ruins

Ephesus Ruins

Depart for Ephesus, one of the world’s finest archaeological sites. Visit the Arcadian way, the splendid façade of the Library of Celsus and see the Amphitheater, still used for concerts. After lunch, visit the House of the Virgin Mary, spectacularly situated above the ruins and then proceed to the Basilica of St John.

Day 9 - Friday
Kusadasi - Pergamum - Troy


After breakfast, we drive north through the rich olive orchards along the Aegean coast to Bergama, the ancient Pergamum and the impressive site of an ancient kingdom. Visit the Acropolis, the Temple of Athena and the famous library, before viewing the ruins of Asklepeion. After lunch continue to Homer’s Troy. Visit the ruins of nine cities built on top each other, and an enormous reconstruction of the famous Wooden Horse. Dinner and overnight in Canakkale.

Day 10 - Saturday
Canakkale - Gallipoli - Istanbul
Gallipoli, Jewish Heritage Tour Turkey


Morning drive to Gallipoli crossing the strategic Dardanelle straits. Visit Anzac Cove and the Lone Pine Cemetery, scene of fierce fighting in World War 1. Lunch en route. Return to Istanbul.

Istanbul - US

A private driver will transfer you to the airport for your flight home. (B)
