The tour in Puglia was probably the BEST tour we have ever taken. I’m sorry, but I have no bad feedback! The Masseria was fabulous — and the bed was BIG! Aya and Isaac and Moshe (who we knew from a trip to Sicily last year) were amazing guides and companions. And despite my qualms about “the demographic”, the other travelers on the tour were all just great. It was a highly congenial group and the fact that it was so small made it even better. We had a spontaneous day on a boat that included swimming in the Ionian Sea which for me was the high point. But everything we did was enjoyable — interesting, fun, stimulating and the meals were extravagant and delicious. The only downside of a kosher tour (for us) is that you miss the fun of trying local restaurants. Steve and I will eat fish or vegetarian at non-kosher places, so traveling on a strictly kosher trip was a new thing for us. Bottom line, we had a great time, met great people and would definitely travel with Aya and Isaac and Moshe again!
