A country with a long and complicated Jewish past, there is nothing like exploring Jewish heritage in Germany.

From the cultural island of Berlin to the famous ShUM region of Mainz, Speyer, and worms, Germany is one of the best places for a Jewish heritage tour.

There have been Jews in Germany since at least the year 321, and the country is the birthplace of the Ashkenazi Jewish community. From persecution during the Crusades, to the birth of Reform Judaism by Moses Mendelssohn, to history about the Holocaust, a trip to Germany is layered and multifaceted.

His experience as a soldier and commander in the ‘67 war and the Yom Kippur War made us feel like we were seeing the country through the eyes of a person that was instrumental in its formation and growth.
